Free Pattern Shawl or Poncho

I know this sounds impossible, but I've done it. The poncho in the photo was knitted on jumbo needles in a day.

It is made of two triangles.

Each triangle is made of one skein of fuzzy yarn.

You start at the bottom (pointed edge) by casting on 3 stiches.

Turn. Knit every row.

Now on every row, you increase one stitch on each end.

Keep going until you run out of yarn. Weave in ends.

Make two triangles. Overcast stitch the top edges together leaving a space for your head to go through.

For a shawl; just make one triangle.
