Space Smells Like a Burnt Cookie
57Well what do you know?
The first woman space tourist Anousheh Ansari, who was born in Iran, just announced on the Oprah show that space smells like a burnt cookie.
Most women in Iran can't even drive a car wherever they want. And Anousheh Ansari came to the U.S. not even speaking English, and made enough money to go to space. Which just goes to show that anything is possible.

I've always been fascinated by outer space, astrology, astronomy, and the cosmos. I grew up on Sandia Air Force Base (now Kirkland AFB) in New Mexico where UFO theories abounded.
Then when I married a physics engineer in 1981, he worked for Hughes Air Craft and I got to see a satellite being built at one of their open houses. I hope to someday have a camera that is good enough to take photos of the moon and such.
I watch all the Nova space shows and just can't get enough of the Mars photos.
Spacey Stuff
More spacey stuff
my very first thought reading this was, how could she smell in space if she is breathing oxogen?
